Turnipseed Engineers is a proud sponsor of McClellan Motorsports. John McClellan, our Vice-President and Manager of our Augusta office, and his family are spending their weekend racing across the southeast. Dawson, John and Hope’s son, is the driver! This past winter they finished second in the Points Series at Checkered Flag Kartway. They had 4 pole positions out of 6, lead more laps than all others except the champion, and won a race. By finishing second in points, he qualified to race for the Maxxis National Championship at Iron City Motorplex in South Carolina. McClellan Motorsports’ motto is Always Learning, Always Improving and they are certainly doing that! Congratulations Dawson and your team!
